London Exploration

Hello again!

Day three in London has been great so far. It's New Year's Eve, and we're so enthralled with the city that we barely realized it. The temperature has been in the 40's on a regular basis, but we're surviving fine. It feels surprisingly refreshing walking around for hours in the low temperature.

We've been coming back to the apartment around 5pm each day to relax and refresh, make dinner, and prepare ourselves for the evening's adventures. Tonight we'll be going to a New Year's Eve show at The Hoxton Bar and Kitchen where our friend Tom "Eagle" Whatley is doing some live audio mixing for a few bands. Should be a great time.

Hey guys -

We're on day two in London. Pretty chilly here. We've been walking around and getting a feel for the place. We're in a great area called Bloomsbury - here's a map:

We are super close to everything and are about to gear up for a trek to King's Cross which houses the fabled Platform 9 3/4 where Harry and Ron board the Hogwart's Express for their first trip to Hogwart's. Jessica is shaking in her boots from excitement.

We haven't had any trouble at all in terms of getting around, and our pockets have gone un-picked. Tomorrow will be super-tourist day where we take a bus tour to some famous sites. Here are the photos I've snapped so far.
